The ultimate decision-making responsibility of the Burney Water District rests with a five-member governing board. They are elected to four-year terms by the citizens residing in the district.  We currently have two positions up for election on the Burney Water District Board of Directors.  If you are interested in becoming a candidate please submit a Candidate Application online at Shasta County Elections and then make an appointment or visit the below office by 5 p.m. on August 9, 2024:
